The Blue Flag awarded to beaches and marinas is an international environmental protection program designed for the sea and coast. It works toward the sustainable management of the sea and coastal zone. The Blue Flag is nowadays a very renowned global eco-label which is an important criterion for the selection of destination to an increasing number of tourists.
Since 2004 marina Kornati has been awarded the Blue Flag.
