Rules and Regulations
1 . Marina Kornati and the Hotel Marina (herein referred to as the Marina) are under ownership andmanagement of ILIRIJA d.d. Biograd na Moru.
2 . Upon arrival at the Marina, vessel operators and guests must register their stay at the Marina Reception.
The terms of the usage of the Marina facilities are determined at the Marina Reception.
3 . All guests and visitors must respect the order and cleanliness of the Marina, and obey the instructions of
the Marina personnel.
4 . Marina guests and visitors are responsible for their own actions within the Marina.
5 . Vessel owners and operators are responsible for the seaworthiness, maintenance and appearance of their
vessels. The mooring system in the Marina uses secure mooring lines of adequate capacity. For safety
and security reasons, the Marina Management may take additional safety measures to secure a vessel
from damage, at the expense of its owner.
6 . Prior to the departure of any vessel, all Marina electrical and water installations have to be
disconnected.
7 . Vessel transport and harbor regulations have international standards which must be observed in the
Marina. The following actions are explicitly forbidden:
Excessive vessel speed in the Marina or near its entrance. (maximum 3 knots).
Expulsion of fuel, oil, waste water, or waste of any kind into the sea.
The use of an open flame in an unsafe manner.
Unauthorized underwater work or activity, including the dropping of an anchor in the
marina basin.
Unnecessary engaging the propeller.
Swimming, fishing, sailing or surfing in the Marina, or sunbathing on the piers (Quays).
8 . Vessel owners or operators must obtain Marina Management approval for any commercial activity in
the Marina.
9 . Vessels registered under a foreign flag are subject to Croatian customs regulations.
10 .Marina customers must obey the terms and conditions of their contracted services, as well as the Rules
and Regulations of the Marina.
11 .Gross or repeated violations of the Marina Rules and Regulations authorize the Marina Management to
cancel any contract with the violator or to reduce or restrict its services.
